Step 3 - Scan Assets

This step lets you select which work areas should be scanned for assets and information.

Scan the following work areas

A new work area that hasn't yet been scanned will be selected by default, while existing work areas that have already been scanned for assets will not be selected.

The work area grid shows which asset and informational layers have already been scanned for a work area.

Note that the scan will only return assets that are found within the selected work areas.

All work areas must be selected to get the full set of assets for the project.

If you want to add a new asset layer to the scan for a work area, you can select the work area for scanning and select the new asset layer.

By default, all asset and informational layer that are in the Atlas web map will be selected for scanning a new work area. This default setting can be changed if you have specified otherwise in the Atlas Admin app.

You can use the Identify Scan Settings dropdown to select one of the pre-defined scan settings, which will only scan a subset of layers for a particular type of project.

You can always manually turn the scan for other layers on or off based on the needs of your particular project.
